Former cruiserweight champ, Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KOs) scored a split decision victory over Timur Ibragimov (30-3-1, 16 KOs) at the Halle Georges Carpentier in Paris, France last night. The judges’ scores were: 116-111, 116-112 for Mormeck and 115-113 for Ibragimov.
This is now Mormeck’s third straight victory in his heavyweight campaign. He also holds unanimous decisions over Vinny Maddalone and Fres Oquendo.
