Taking an interim fight before his major title bout against one of the Klitschko brothers in the Fall, Tomasz Adamek (43-1, 28 KOs) has just signed to fight 6 ft 6 veteran journeyman, Kevin McBride (35-8-1, 29 KOs) in a contest that is currently without a venue.
McBride, best known for upsetting Mike Tyson in 2005, has lost four of his last five.
Adamek, who has held world titles at light heavyweight and cruiserweight, will be using the “The Clones Colossus,” McBride, as a tune-up for the similarly large Klitschkos. In his last contest, Adamek topped Vinny Maddalone in five rounds.
