8/8 – Liborio Solis (18-3-1, 9 KO’s) vs. Jose Carlos Vargas (14-10-1, 9 KO’s) – Gimnasio Yuyin Luzcando, Betania, Panama
After a short reign as WBA and IBF super flyweight champ, Solis vacated the titles to move up and fight as a bantamweight and scored a first round over Alex Olea earlier this year. Vargas is a typical “stay busy” opponent, having lost his last two bouts and six of his last seven.

The winner of this one will unify two of the minimum-weight championships; Takayama holds the IBF belt and has two successful defenses, he is also a former WBA and WBC minimum-weight title holder. Rodriguez is the WBO champ having won the title in March.
8/9 – Dmitry Chudinov (13-0-2, 8 KO’s) vs. Mehdi Bouadla (30-5, 11 KO’s) – Open-Air Bike Show, Sevastopol, Crimea, Russia
The interim WBA World middleweight title is on the line. Title holder Chudinov is coming off his bets win yet: a decision over undefeated Danish prospect Patrick Nielsen in his first title defense. Bouadla has held a few regional belts in years past, but lost in his one other world title contest when Arthur Abraham stopped him in eight rounds in 2012. Since then he’s won four six round decisions.

The undefeated hometown fighter, Ali won the WBO NABO welterweight title in his last contest and has scored stoppage wins in five of his last six bouts. Bryan is coming off an eight round decision over Issouf Kinda.

Glazkov came up big a few months ago, comfortably defeating Tomasz Adamek in a nationally televised contest to win the IBF North American heavyweight title. Rossy was once a prospect, but hasn’t had much luck when stepping up his level of opposition. In May he managed to get by Joe Hanks with a 10 round decision.
