Canelo vs. Gennady “GGG” Golovkin: Who will win?

Eddie Reynoso, fighter Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’s trainer, strongly believes that Canelo has a better chance at winning on September 16 in their fight on HBO PPV than Gennady Golovkin because of his fast and agile actions and better defense. But, one should not undervalue the power of Gennady as he is a very strong fighter which is enough to win a fight against someone who doesn’t have an amateur career like “Canelo.”

Canelo has not yet faced a major punch that had a good stamina and a solid chin. The only big punch he has faced till this day was James Kirkland who knocked him down in the second round. To win the fight against Gennady, Canelo should not give him the opportunity to hit him like he was by Kirkland because Canelo will not be able to hold up for 12 rounds if that happens. People bet on these fights, and one of the best sites that allow you to bet is Betfair. This site also allows you to place sports wagers and play various casino games. So, if you are a fan of living life on the edge and taking a chance, then this site is for you.

Reynoso is pretty confident that Canelo is a complete package and has what it takes to fight Golovkin, that is, strength, stamina, agility, and power. He continues to say that such fights are what they aim for to reach big fights and big leagues. To win this fight, there is no chance of fighting timidly as he did back in 2013 against Austin Trout. Canelo should forget about winning if he fights by using the ropes and fighting in a turtle-like manner. If Canelo fights Golovkin, then he must continue fighting only the best fighters like Danny Jacobs and Jermall Charlo to move up the ladder. This is not in the hands of trainer Eddie Reynoso as he is under the guidance of Golden Boy Promotions which takes care of all his matches.

To become the number one pound for pound fighter in boxing, Reynoso says that, one has to beat the best up there. For Canelo to become the number 1 pound for pound fighter, he has to beat a whole lot of great fighters like Lomachenko, Andre Ward, Golovkin and so on. The chances of Canelo to become the number 1 pound for pound fighter are weak anytime soon. It can happen only if he beats Golovkin and looks convincing. Even then he may move up on the ratings on becoming the number 1 pound for pound fighter. He will have to show and prove that he can fight against Danny Jacobs and Jermall Charlo. But, then again, it is in the hands of Golden Boy Promotions. Canelo also has a better chance at winning as he is younger than Golovkin who is 35. Canelo is better at counter punching and will have a better chance of winning the majority rounds because of his fast defense.

GGG in 9 rounds. Golovokin fought better fighters and wasnt faced a real middleweight and he tires fast.
