The premise of your question is faulty. No knowledgeable boxing critic believes that Floyd really lost to Jose Luis Castillo. In the buildup to the second fight, Castillo even acknowledged that he thought the fight was “competitive.” That’s the problem with amateurish analysis of sophisticated boxing styles. People are so accustomed to lopsided Mayweather fights, that every interesting fight gets relegated to the realm of controversy.

I wish Angulo the best. He is such a great fighter, never disappoints, even in defeat. He has done his time, even though what he did is not criminal, just an oversight and carelessness from his past promoter and him. The only bad intentions he’s ever had were in the ring.
