WIBA bantamweight champion Carolina Rodriguez (10-0, 1 KO) remained undefeated, stopping Natalia Lopez (3-13) in five rounds in Chile. In just her fourth “official” professional bout, Jessica Gonzalez (3-1) won the WBA world bantamweight championship, defeating title holder Irma Garcia (7-1-1, 1 KO) over 10 rounds in Mexico.
