Earlier today, Frank Warren Promotions announced that on Saturday, July 20th, heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora would square off against undefeated American, Malik Scott, at the Wembley Arena in London, United Kingdom. The bout is scheduled for ten rounds of action.
The 29-year-old Chisora(16-4, 10 KO’s), was originally set to face American, Deontay Wilder, however, after a domestic battery charge and arrest, Wilder was barred from traveling outside of the U.S., and thus Chisora was forced to look elsewhere for an opponent. The 32-year-old Philadelphia native, Scott(35-0-1, 12 KO’s), will travel across the pond for the first time in his career. Chisora is coming off of a TKO win in his last fight over Hector Avila, while Scott is coming off a draw in his last fight.
The undercard will also feature IBF Intercontinental Super-Bantamweight Champion, Carl Frampton, along with a stacked card featuring young British talent.
