WBO super flyweight champ, Omar Narvaez (34-0-2, 19 KOs) will look to make the third defense of his belt against Colombia’s William Urina (17-1, 14 KOs) at Estadio Luna Park in his native Buenos Aires, Argentina this Saturday.
Narvaez, 35, was a former WBO flyweight champ, making 16 successful defenses before moving up to capture the vacant super flyweight title against Everth Briceno in 2010.
The 25-year-old Urina is coming off a January unanimous decision loss to Mexico’s Johnny Garcia in his first fight outside of Colombia. Prior to the Garcia loss, Urina has faced minimal regional opposition in Colombia.
