Robert Stieglitz (40-2, 23KOs) will make his fifth title defense against the 23-year-old Henry Weber (15-0-1, 3KOs) in Offenburg, Germany at the Baden Arena on Saturday, January 14th.
Stieglitz is ranked 5th in the world among super middleweights and is coming off nine consecutive wins. His two losses on record come against Alejandro Berrio in 2007 and Librado Andrade in 2008, both of which he lost by TKO. Winning this fight Saturday is imperative as he is scheduled to face Mikkel Kessler (44-2, 33KOs) in April.
Weber is a young fighter and has yet to see tough competition in the ring. A win Saturday would be devastating for his opponent and fast track his career in the division.
This main event will co-feature Arthur Abraham (32-3, 26KOs) vs. Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias (19-1, 11KOs) in the super middleweight division.
