Former world title challenger, Eddie Chambers (36-2, 18 KOs), has suffered a rib injury in training and has pulled out of his January 21st bout with former WBO heavyweight titlist, Siarhei Liakhovich (25-4, 16 KOs) at the Asylum Arena in Philadelphia.

Scheduled to be the debut main event of the NBC Sports Network’s Fight Night series, Chambers-Liakhovich was thought to be a competitive, well-booked heavyweight contest.

Main Events, the promoter of the event, is currently looking for a replacement willing to take the fight on a week’s notice.

The televised co-feature of the Fight Night card will pit Jesus Soto Karass (24-6-3, 16 KOs) against Gabriel Rosado (18-5, 10 KOs) in a ten round junior middleweight bout.

The off-TV undercard will also feature former world title challenger, Joel Julio (37-4, 31 KOs) against journeyman, Chris Fernandez (19-14-1, 12 KOs) in a ten round welterweight bout and regional attraction, “The New” Ray Robinson (12-2, 5 KOs) in an 8-round welterweight contest against Doel Carrasquillo (16-18-1, 14 KOs).
