Former British welterweight champion Kell Brook(29-0, 19 KO’s), has been forced to withdraw from his long-awaited IBF Championship title bout against Devon Alexander(24-1, 13 KO’s), after suffering a foot injury(a stress fracture to his right foot).  This is the third cancellation of the fight, which was to serve as the co-feature lead up to Lamont Peterson Vs. Lucas Matthysse on May 18th on Showtime Sports.

Alexander’s promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, is working around the clock with IBF officials  to find a replacement for Alexander to challenge.
