48 year-old living legend Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins will defend his IBF Light Heavyweight title on Saturday, July 13th against Karo Murat of Kitzingen, Bayern, Germany at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.  The Philadelphia, PA native, Hopkins(53-6-2, 32 KO’s), is fresh off of a 12-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Tavoris Cloud in March that took place at the very same venue.  Meanwhile, the hardly known Murat(25-1-1, 15 KO’s), will make the trek to the U.S. for the first time in his career to battle Hopkins over the course of a scheduled 12 rounds with Showtime expected to air the bout.
