Its not always wise to piss off the champ, but Jennifer Retzke may have done just that.

At a press conference in Oslo, Norway for the “All or Nothing” event to be held this Saturday, world welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (26-0, 7 KO’s), holder of the WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBF titles was the lone participant in attendance as the challenger; Jennifer Retzke (15-1-1, 9 KO’s) failed to show.

Retzke’s reasoning for no-showing the event was a perceived “disrespect” by the champion at an earlier media event. Team Retzke also referred to the “First Lady” as a diva, accusing her of refusing to pose for photos in front of the German challenger’s sponsors.

The champ found the name calling humorous, as she told RingsideReport.com, ‘’Her team are completely crazy, when I politely declined to take a picture after a long day, I had no idea it would cause this kind of a reaction. I find it funny. I’m not a diva, so for them to say that, makes me laugh. I’m not one for trash talking, I’ll leave that to my opponents, but what I will say is I’m 100% focused. I believe I’m in a different league to Retzke and I plan to show that on Saturday night!’’

The scheduled 10 round contest will take place at the Falconer Centeret in Frederiksberg, Denmark and will be the headlining event of a 10-bout “Nordic Fight Night” card.
