Dayana Cordero (12-5-2, 11 KO’s) retained the interim WBA bantamweight title last night, stopping challenger Maribel Ramirez (9-9-2, 3 KO’s) in the seventh round of their contest at Coliseo Municipal in the champs homeland of Colombia. In France, Nadia Hokmi (20-6-1, 9 KO’s) took a 10 round decision over Linda Soto (6-4, 3 KO’s) to win the vacant WBF bantamweight title.
