If you are looking for a boxing fix this weekend, the only one sanctioned in North America comes from Canada as Christian Mbilli (27-0, 23 KOs) squares off against Sergiy Derevyanchenko (15-5,10 KOs). It’s a super middleweight showdown for broadcast consumption to cap off what has been an uneventful week of boxing. This fight, however, should provide some fireworks from the Videotron Centre.

Not very good.
Many will remember Sena Agbeko as he closed out Showtime Championship Boxing last December, getting knocked out by David Morrell. Iglesias is his first match back. The rest of the card showcases Top Rank prospects with Eye of The Tiger Promotions fighters sprinkled in. Arslanbek Makhmudov and Guido Vianello should be an intriguing heavyweight matchup as the co-main event. Abdullah Mason is a must-watch, even if it is against Mike Ohan Jr., fresh off his points win over Harry Gigliotti.
ODDS AND PREDICTION
Mbilli is in the same lane of 168 that many others are waiting for at 168. It starts with Canelo and ends with Alvarez. While we wait for whatever he does after the result of his matchup with Edgar Berlanga next month, this solidifies some of the pieces still staying in that lane. Mbilli is roughly a 5 to 1 favorite over the rugged Derevyanchenko. Taking the youth and activity here with Mbilli to be victorious here.
Christian Mbilli -475
Sergiy Derevyanchenko +350
