I’ve written A LOT about why Saudi Arabian control is bad for boxing (and, yeah, Turki Alalshikh being made a singular figurehead for the Saudi takeover doesn’t mean that the murderous monarchy of Saudi Arabia headed by the Crown Prince isn’t REALLY in control).
I can’t really say anymore and it’s getting increasingly difficult to get anything out there as the Saudis/Turki buy off the media to control the narrative of this unprecedented hostile takeover (which isn’t all that hostile because, like, everyone is kneeling and kissing the ring, immediately, at the sight of a few bucks).
