Sergio Mora-Bryan Vera, Feb. 4th in Ft. Worth, TX

Following an ill-received, tepid draw against Shane Mosley in September, Sergio Mora (22-1-2, 6 KOs) will be back on February 4th against brawling journeyman, Bryan Vera (17-5, 11 KOs) in a middleweight contest.

Vera is coming off a September unanimous decision loss to Maksym Bursak in the Ukraine and has lost four of his last five. However, he does boast two quality upsets: A 2008 TKO 7 over prospect, Andy Lee, and a June TKO 3 stoppage of Quebec’s Sebastien Demers in Quebec.

Mora is looking to regain some career momentum after a poorly-received performance against Mosley at 154 lbs. and will turn his focus to the middleweight division.

Mora-Vera will headline the Feb. 4 edition of ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights.
