Three-time world title challenger, Librado Andrade (29-3, 22 KOs) will be taking on second generation fighter, Aaron Pryor Jr. (15-3, 11 KOs), May 6th at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California as part of Telefutura’s Solo Boxeo series.
In his last bout, Andrade stopped the comeback-minded former title holder, Eric Lucas in eight rounds. The Guanajuato-born super middleweight has failed in three bids to capture the 168 lb. world title, once against Mikkel Kessler and twice against Lucian Bute. However, in his eleven year career, Andrade has scored victories over Robert Stieglitz, Yusaf Mack, Otis Grant, and Vitaliy Tsypko.
Pryor Jr. dropped his last bout via unanimous decision to Edwin Rodriguez in January. Pryor’s only career win of note has come against fellow second generation boxer, Dyah Davis.
On the undercard, Andrade’s brother, Enrique Ornelas (30-7, 20 KOs) will take on an opponent to be determined.
