Buffalo Bill’s Star Arena, Primm, Nevada– Jr. welterweight prospect, Sharif Bogere (20-0, 12 KOs) barely got by veteran Raymundo Beltran (24-5, 16 KOs) to take a close unanimous decision in an entertaining bout on Showtime’s ShoBox series Friday night.

Bogere was the quicker and better-conditioned fighter, but Beltran pushed forward all night and scored with the overall bigger shots. The blend in styles resulted in several clashes of heads that drew blood from both fighters.

The back-and-forth battle produced several close rounds, but the judges saw fit to declare Bogere the winner by scores of 96-94, 97-93 and 96-94. The Boxing Tribune scored the fight a draw, 95-95.

In the televised opener, heavyweight prospect, Seth Mitchell (22-0-1, 16 KOs) blew through journeyman, Evans Quinn (20-6-1, 18KOs) in one round via an overhand right that drove Quinn to the ropes and a barrage of punches that convinced Quinn to stay on his hands and knees, listening to the full ten count.

Other Noteworthy Fights:

(Jr. Middleweight) Prince Arron TKO 12 Sam Webb; (Super Middleweight) Serge Yannick SD12 Shannan Taylor
