As reported by Vindy.com, former middleweight champ, Kelly Pavlik, who was released from alcohol abuse treatment in January, was involved in a drunken altercation Friday evening with brother, Michael, at his parent’s home in Youngstown, Ohio.
According to police reports, the former title holder “punched the west-facing side door of the home and pulled his brother, Michael, out of the broken window.” Reports also mentioned that both brothers had been drinking at the time of the incident.
Pavlik had left the scene of the scuffle before police arrived and his brother, cut and bloody from the incident, declined to press charges.
Members of Pavlik’s management team said they were unaware of the incident and Pavlik, himself, has issued no statement.
