Three interesting fighters in three uninteresting bouts will be featured on the undercard of the Amir Khan-Zab Judah WBA/IBF jr. welterweight unification bout Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Peter Quillin (24-0, 18 KOs) will face journeyman, Jason LeHoullier (21-5-1, 8 KOs) in a scheduled 10-rounder. LeHoullier is 0-5-1 in his last six and hasn’t won a bout since March, 2007.
James Kirkland (28-1, 25 KOs), in his second bout back with trainer Ann Wolfe and three months removed from his shocking TKO 1 loss to Nobuhiro Ishida, will be taking on Michigan club-fighter, Alexis Hloros (15-3-2, 11 KOs) in an eight-rounder. Hloros, who has fought his last eleven fights at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan, has faced opposition with a combined record of 76-123-9.
Gary Russell Jr. (16-0, 10 KOs), who was originally scheduled to fight the UK’s Paul Truscott, will now be facing Chicago’s Eric Estrada (9-1, 3 KOs) in an eight-round bout. Estrada is a step down in class from Truscott, who was a former Commonwealth featherweight champ.
Also on the undercard, super featherweight prospect, Ronny Rios (14-0, 6 KOs) will take on Noe Lopez Jr. (7-8. 4 KOs).
