Nihon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan– Koki Kameda (26-1, 16 KOs) made the second defense of his “regular” WBA bantamweight belt via close unanimous decision over unheralded Mexican, David De la Mora (23-1, 16 KOs) by scores of 115-112, 114-113, 115-113. De la Mora was down in the second, making the difference between the unanimous decision loss and what could’ve been a majority draw.

In the co-feature, Mexico’s Hugo Cazares (35-7-2, 25 KOs) lost his WBA super flyweight title in an upset split decision to hometown fighter, Tomonobu Shimizu (19-3-1, 9 KOs). The judges’ scorecards read: 115-113, 115-113, and 114-115.

Derwent Entertainment Centre, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia– IBF middleweight titlist, Daniel Geale (26-1, 15 KOs) made the first successful defense of his belt via unanimous decision over Eromosele Albert (24-5-1, 12 KOs) by scores of 119-109, 117-111, and 116-112.
