Medina Beats Brewer; Wonjongkam, Hernandez Title Fight Results (with Video)

Cox Convention Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma–

Michael Medina (25-3-2, 19 KOs) scored the upset and won the NABF junior middleweight title via unanimous 10-round decision from 41-year-old veteran, Grady Brewer (28-14, 16 KOs) by scores of 98-92, 99-91, and 98-92.

11th Inf Reg, Bangkok, Thailand–

The WBC flyweight defense between defending champ, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (83-3-2, 44 KOs) and Hirofumi Mukai (5-1-1) ended in a first round technical draw when a clash of heads at the :47 second mark brought about a fight-ending cut over the challenger’s eye. Full fight video is below:

Thailand’s Kompayak Porpramook (44-3, 30 KOs) stopped defending WBC junior flyweight champion, Mexico’s Adrian Hernandez (22-2-1, 14 KOs) in the tenth round of their scheduled 12 to take the title. Full fight video is below:
