Abraham, Stieglitz, Pulev Victorious in German Action

Baden-Arena, Offenburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany–

Robert Stieglitz (41-2, 23 KOs) made the fifth defense of his WBO super middleweight title via one-sided unanimous decision over fellow German, Henry Weber (15-1-1, 3 KOs) by scores of 119-109, 118-110, 116-112. Stieglitz is scheduled to defend his title in April against former three-time world titlist, Mikkel Kessler.

Arthur Abraham (33-3, 27 KOs) stopped Argentina’s Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias (19-2, 11 KOs) in the fifth round of a scheduled twelve round bout. Farias was down twice in the fifth and final round.

Bulgarian heavyweight prospect, Kubrat Pulev (15-0, 7 KOs) stopped British journeyman, Michael Sprott (36-18, 17 KOs) in the ninth round of their scheduled ten.
