
Mexican boxing promoter Promociones Zanfer has announced that a Flyweight clash between former world champions Edgar Sosa and Giovani Segura which is set to take place Saturday, May 18th at the Plaza De Toros Eloy Cavazos in Michoacan de Ocampo, Mexico. The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds for the WBC Silver Flyweight world championship and to be aired on Box Azteca. Sosa(48-7, 29 KO’s) is coming off of a KO victory over Ulises Solis back in March and has won five consecutive fights. Meanwhile, Segura(29-2-1, 25 KO’s), is looking to continue his comeback trail since his TKO loss to Brian Viloria in 2011. Segura won via TKO in 9 rounds in his last bout against Omar Salado in February.
