Roy Jones Returns Sept. 26, Faces “Egyptian Hurricane”

Roy Jones will be getting back into the ring September 26, exactly two months after stopping an overmatched Courtney Fry via RTD 5 in Riga, Latvia.

According to reports, the 45-year-old Jones (58-8, 41 KOs) will be facing unknown and unheralded 30-year-old Hany “The Egyptian Hurricane ” Atiyo (14-2, 10 KOs) in Krasnodar, Russia.

Atiyo, who has only fought twice outside of his native Egypt, has a paper-thin resume and no experience against opposition outside of the regional African scene.

Jones is 4-0 since greatly lowering the level of his opposition to an almost exhibition level.
