Funcion doble Campeonato Mundial

WBA/WBO flyweight champ Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada (30-2, 20 KOs) returns to the ring December 6 at the Centro de Usos Múltiples in his hometown of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico against Filipino Joebert Álvarez (14-0-1, 6 KOs) in a ten-round non-title bout.

Estrada’s last bout was a dominant, breakthrough TKO 11 performance over countryman Giovani Segura that drew unexpectedly huge TV ratings in Mexico.

Rumors continue to circulate that Estrada may be headed towards a 2015 showdown against WBC flyweight champ, Nicaragua’s Roman “El Chocolatito” Gonzalez. Estrada lost to Gonzalez via unanimous decision back in 2012.

Also featured on the Hermosillo card is Jackie ¨La Princesa Azteca¨ Nava (30-4-3, 13 KOs) against Katy Wilson (18-1, 11 KOs) in a WBC/WBA unification bout and the return of former world titlist, Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (37-5, 26 KOs) against an opponent to be named.
