#6-year-old Jermain Taylor has been stripped of the IBF middleweight world title he won from Sam Soliman last October for failure to defend.

Taylor pulled out of his scheduled February 6 title defense against Sergio Mora, citing injury, but most likely due to an incident where the fighter allegedly opened fire on a man and his family following the Martin Luther Kind Day parade in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The now former two-time middleweight champ is being charged with felony aggravated assault, three felony counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Last summer, Taylor allegedly shot his cousin during a dispute and is still awaiting a court date for that incident.

In recent months, the former clean cut pride of Little Rock has given the appearance of being out of control, engaging in gun play and producing eerie, mostly nonsensical videos for social media. Taylor will reportedly undergo mental evaluation while in custody for his latest incident.
