2/7 – Grady Brewer (32-19, 16 KO’s) vs. Daniel Sandoval (36-3, 33 KO’s) – Coliseo Olimpico de la UG, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
The 44 year old Brewer, a former “Contender” winner is still fairly active, though he hasn’t seen a significant win since stopping Fernando Guerrero in 2011; since then he’s won just four of 11 bouts. Sandoval, 21 years younger, lost his biggest contest to Omar Chavez in May, and comes in off a fourth round TKO win.
2/7 – Vic Darchinyan (39-7-1, 28 KO’s) vs. Juan Jiminez (19-8, 12 KO’s) – Domo del Palacio Municipal, Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico
After back-to-back knockout losses, and dropping four of his last six bouts, it’s safe to say that Darchinyan’s best days are behind him. Nonetheless, he picks up a 10 rounder against Jiminez, who hasn’t fought anyone of note.
2/7 – Pablo Cesar Cano (27-4-1, 20 KO’s) vs. Jorge Silva (20-6-2, 16 KO’s) – Domo del Palacio Municipal, Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Cano is former interim WBA World super lightweight title holder who’s challenged for (and lost) both the “regular” super lightweight and welterweight titles. He’s dropped three of his last four fights, and was stopped by Alfredo Angulo in March. Silva fits the bill for Cano to pick up a win, coming in on a three fight losing streak.
