The field is abuzz with the announcement of the highly anticipated Keith Thurman VS. Shawn Porter stacked undercard, something that has the online boxing odds flying all over the place.

If recent reports are to be believed, then it will feature heavyweight Adam Kownacki and Jesse Barboza, the popular Brooklyn fighters doing battle against one another in a hard-hitting eight-round bout.

Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to see Heather ‘The Heat’ Hardy take on Colorado’s Kirstie Simmons, this crowd-pleasing eight-round contest between the featherweights taking place on June 25th at the Barclays Center.

Scheduled for Saturday, the June Showtime Championship Boxing event will be available for viewing on CBS. The event will be presented by premier boxing champion. World champion Keith Thuman will take center stage, his world title fight against former champion Shawn Porter headlining the entire event.

Home viewers will have to wait until 9P.M ET/6P.M PT when televised coverage will begin. They can look forward to a fight between Jarrett Hurd and Oscar Molina, the exciting battle between the welterweight prospects opening up the live telecast.

Anyone worried about the event not living up to their expectations can look forward to additional undercard action such as the bout between Bronx native Josue Vargas and Oklahoma’s David Nelson in four exciting rounds of a welterweight battle.

Unbeaten prospect Jonathan Alonso will also do battle with Los Angeles native Brian Jones in a junior welterweight match.

The chance to see Puerto Rico’s Nicklaus Flaz take on Brooklyn’s Mack Babb in four rounds of a junior middleweight battle will also draw a lot of fans, especially seeing as it is only a recent addition to the card.

There were a few completed matchups that were announced previously and which boxing enthusiasts have already prepared to cheer for. These include David Benavidez, a fast-rising prospect doing battle against Francy Ntelu. Their light heavyweight bout will last eight rounds, while the Regis Prograis/Luis Eduardo Flores fight will be an exciting ten-round battle.

The live event is being promoted by DiBella Entertainment. Anyone looking forward to enjoying the event Live should take steps to immediately acquire their tickets, which are currently on sale at a starting price of $49.

Hardy had the opportunity to compete in the first-ever professional female boxing match. The Brooklyn fighter has since become a staple at the Barclays Center.

The event on June 25th will mark her 17th appearance at the arena. Hardy has quite the reputation, winning an international title belt in 2014 two years after her pro debut. Noem Bosques and Renata Domsodi both lost to her in 2015, the boxer also stopping Anne Donatella Hultin in the fourth round during her lone 2016 fight.

Her contest against Aurora, who has won nine fights in a row following her pro debut loss, is bound to attract a lot of interest.

For Kownacki, 2015 was a great year, garnering him four knockout victories against Randy Easton and Maurenzo Smith. The 26-year-old began his championship campaign in January this year when he beat Danny Kelly at the Barclays Center. He will be taking on three-time New England Heavyweight Golden Gloves Champion Barboza this time round.
