Argentina’s Omar “El Huracan” Narvaez (33-0-2, 19 KO) will defend his WBO super flyweight title against Puerto Rico’s Cesar Seda (20-0, 15 KO), Friday April 15th. Narvaez’s 3rd defense of the title he won last May, will take place in the Estadio Osvaldo Casanova Club Estudiantes in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Seda, who is ranked #1 by the WBO, scored a 1st-round TKO victory over little-known 6-round fighter, Ernie Marquez (9-7-1, 3 KO), in December.
The undefeated Narvaez is making a quick turnaround, having last fought on February 12, scoring a 12-round unanimous decision victory over Victor Zaleta (17-1, 9 KO). Narvaez held the WBO’s flyweight title for nearly 7 years, and holds wins over Luis Lazarte, Carlos Tamara, and Rayonta Whitfield.
