World light flyweight champion Yesica Bopp (26-1, 12 KO’s) retained the WBA and WBO titles in Argentina with a second round stoppage over Ana Fernandez (14-7, 10) at Club Los Padres Capuchinos. Former world flyweight champion Mariana “La Barbie” Juarez (37-7-3, 16 KO’s) avenged her April defeat scoring a 10 round decision over Riyo Togo (10-5-1, 9 KO’s) in Mexico. Germany’s “Killer Queen” saw action this past weekend. Susi Kentikian (31-2, 16 KO’s) evened the score against Carina Moreno (23-6), working her way to a unanimous 10 round decision and regaining the WBA world flyweight title in Dortmund Saturday night.
