Former heavyweight title challenger, Kevin Johnson (23-1-1, 10 KOs), returns this Saturday on the Evander Holyfield-Sherman Williams pay-per-view in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Johnson will be taking on veteran journeyman, Julius Long (15-14. 13 KOs), as part of the televised undercard. Travis Kaufman was originally scheduled to take on Long, but pulled out due to illness.

The 7′ 1″ Long has lost his last six in a row and hasn’t notched a victory since he beat Eli Dixon in 2007 via RTD 5.

This will be the second fight for Johnson since his failed attempt at Vitali Klitschko’s WBC Heavyweight title in December of 2009. In that contest, Johnson’s defense looked impressive in nullifying almost every meaningful shot thrown by the reigning champion, but on offense, Johnson never let his hands go, which resulted in him losing a one-sided unanimous decision on the scorecards.

The Holyfield-Williams PPV also features veteran heavyweight Monte Barrett (34-9-1, 20 KOs) against journeyman, Charles Davis (19-21-2, 4 KOs).
