Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia– Michael Katsidis (28-4, 23 KOs) stopped Michael Lozada (38-9-1, 30 KOs) with a body shot in the third round of their scheduled ten.

Buffalo Run Casino, Miami, Oklahoma– Kevin Ferguson (AKA: Kimbo Slice) stopped James Wade (0-2) in seventeen seconds to win his professional boxing debut.
