Texas Station Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada– Undefeated lightweight prospect, Sharif Bogere (21-0, 13 KOs) stopped previously unbeaten Francisco Contreras (16-1, 13 KOs) in the third round of their scheduled ten.
The end came via two big right hands, the second of which looked to be behind Contreras’ head, but was later ruled a legal blow by the Nevada commission.
On the undercard, Jermell Charlo (16-0, 7 KOs) took a unanimous eight-round over Francisco Santana (12-3-1, 6 KOs) in a junior middleweight bout.
Wollongong Basketball Stadium, Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia– Former world title challenger, Shannan Taylor (52-10-3, 37 KOs) stopped Thailand’s Sintung Kietbusaba (11-8, 10 KOs) in the fourth round of their scheduled twelve.
Coliseo Rebekah Colberg, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico —Manny Siaca (23-7, 20 KOs) stopped Jhon Berrio (15-11, 11 KOs) in the first round to take the WBO Latino middleweight title.
Flyweight prospect, McJoe Arroyo (9-0, 5 KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Shawn Nichol (5-7, 5 KOs) by scores of 59-55, 59-55 and 60-54.
The Club Chicago, Burbank, Illinois– Osumanu Adama (20-2, 15 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over former IBF light middleweight champion, Roman Karmazin (40-5-2, 26 KOs) in an IBF middleweight eliminator.
Also, Eric Mitchell (23-7-1, 11 KOs) took a split decision over local favorite Derrick Findley (18-7, 11 KOs) in a middleweight encounter. Scores were 95-94, 96-93 for Mitchell and 95-94 for Findley.
