Uchiyama-Solis, Caballero-Hosono, Ioka-Chalermchai Fight Results from Japan (with Full Videos)

Bunka Gym, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan– WBA super featherweight champ, Takashi Uchiyama (18-0, 15 KOs) stopped Mexican interim WBA super featherweight titlist, Jorge Solis (40-4-2, 29 KOs) in the eleventh round to unify both of the organization’s 130 lb. belts. At the time of the knockout, Uchiyama was ahead on all three judges’ scorecards: 99-91, 98-92, 98-92. Watch full fight video below:

In the co-feature, Panama’s Celestino Caballero (36-4, 23 KOs) beat Japan’s Satoshi Hosono (21-2, 15 KOs) via twelve round unanimous decision by scores of 119-108, 119-108, 116-111. Watch full fight video below:



Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Osaka, Japan–
WBC strawweight champ, Kazuto Ioka (9-0, 6 KOs) made the second defense of his title by stopping Thailand’s Yodgoen Tor Chalermchai (8-1, 4 KOs) in the first round of their scheduled twelve. Watch full fight video below:

On the Ioka undercard, two-time former super flyweight titlist, Nobuo Nashiro (16-4-1, 10 KOs) stopped Thai novice, Norasing Patanakan Gym (1-1, 1 KO) in the second round of their scheduled ten.
