Last night in Buffalo, N.Y., Nick Casal (22-4-1, 17 KOs) was attacked by a group of men wielding golf clubs. The group was reported to consist of an ex-boyfriend of Casal’s current girlfriend and several other assailants. Casal sustained multiple severe lacerations to the back of his head and a broken arm.

Casal was in training for an ESPN main event against Jr. Welterweight Ruslan Provodnikov in June, which has now been cancelled.
