Several ranked fighters were victorious last week, but only a couple of changes took place in the world rankings:

Ricky Burns assumes the #1 spot in the lightweight division, moving up from #3, partly due to his win over Kevin Mitchell and partly due to Brandon Rios’ exit from the division.

Carl Frampton debuts in the junior featherweight top ten at #5 after his win over former #9 ranked Steve Molitor. Molitor, with his defeat, falls from the Top 10.

Sharif Bogere debuts in the #10 spot at lightweight due to the space made from Brandon Rios’ exit.

Hekkie Budler moves up to #9 from #10 in the strawweight division after his win over Florante Condes.
