Haye(L), Charr(R) Set To Clash June 29th.

It was recently announced that former heavyweight world champion David “Hayemaker” Haye(26-2, 24 KO’s), had signed a long-term promotional agreement with British-based Matchroom Sport.  Haye will make his first appearance under the Matchroom Sport promotional banner on June 29th against once-defeated heavyweight, Manuel Charr, at the Manchester Arena in Manchester(formerly the M.E.N. Arena), United Kingdom.  Charr(23-1, 13 KO’s), has won back-to-back fights since his fourth round TKO loss to Vitali Klitschko back in September of last year.  As for Haye, he is coming off of a TKO win over Dereck Chisora in July of last year.  The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds pending title consideration.  Charr has a ½” height advantage over Haye along with 4 years of youth on his side, with Haye carrying 30% more knockout power to Charr’s KO percentage.  Sky Sports will provide and air the live fight coverage.
