Arthur Abraham
There was a time when Abraham held court in Germany as the IBF middleweight champion and held the reputation of being a feared champion and true match for fellow champ, Kelly Pavlik. A closer inspection of his record, though, showed that many of his ten title defenses were against hand-picked no-hopers. As Abraham moved up in weight and ventured outside of Germany to take part in the Showtime Super Six tournament, it became clear just how protected he actually was. With the exception of a 12th round KO of an already faded Jermain Taylor, Abraham would lose decisively to everyone at the true world class level. Nonetheless, Abraham has captured the WBO super middleweight title by winning two of three against the pedestrian Robert Stieglitz. Abraham seems to have learned his lesson now as he stand far clear of true world class challenges these days.
