Joan Guzman
At one time considered a brilliant boxing machine with a silky-smooth style to go along with an abundance of natural gifts, Guzman was pound-for-pound material right up there with the Mayweathers of the world– but that was over a decade ago and within the 122-130 lb. weight limit. In the last five years, Guzman has eaten his way to the welterweight limit and has had more meaningful battles with the scale than with Top 10 opposition. Now 38, Guzman has thrown away his prime years via inactivity and chronic weight issues. Still competing, but without a significant win since 2010, there’s no coming back for this wasted talent.
