New Technology has found a way to bring old school boxing style to tech-minded fight fans.

On November 22, fight fans will have the option of listening live on their smart phone or tablet to an audio-only broadcast from the Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri PPV card in Macau.

Media company, Action Audio Apps, Inc., will broadcast the entire PPV card, as well as provide bonus coverage via free app available for download in Google Play and the App Store, as well as their website, http://actionaudioapps.net/pazonpacquiao.

Per their press release:

[The broadcast will be] hosted by five-time world champion, Vinny Paz, along with guest commentary from sports talk personality Bill Buckbee, internationally acclaimed referee and judge Dick Flaherty, boxing historian [The Boxing Tribune’s] Ted Sares and renowned odds maker Super Foo! This team of hosts will also be taking calls, throughout the night, from a star-studded list of top-notch boxing analysts.

The old timers will attest to the electricity in the air during a well-done audio fight broadcast. But this is also a good option for those who may be on the road or at work during fight time or for those who simply want an alternative to the play-by-play and analysis provided by HBO.

The free audio broadcast will begin at 8 PM on November 22.
