The Boxing Tribune is not for sale or rent.
Unlike every other major boxing website, we are not funded by promoters or managers. We’re not co-owned by an active promoter. We’re not bartering feature pieces for access to fights and fighters. Our stories are not dictated to us by publicists and fighter management.
We’re also not actively courting relationships with questionable writers and websites for the sake of currying favor and gaining exposure. We have no aspirations to be part of the boxing media establishment or members of its fraternal organizations.
In short, The Boxing Tribune looks to operate as an island– Fully independent and free to write the truth. Our only obligations are to the readers, who deserve to know what’s really happening, and to the sport, which desperately needs an independent voice to offset the media’s predominant atmosphere of shilling, pandering, and general incompetence.
If you have any questions regarding a specific article or about our editorial policy as a whole, please feel free to contact me at: paulmagno@theboxingtribune.com.
If you share our goals and would like to write for us, send an email to the above address. We offer full profit sharing across the board. Experience is preferred, but isn’t absolutely necessary. If you can write well and can avoid being a shill, fan boy, cretin, and little piggie at the trough, you’ll fit in nicely at The Boxing Tribune.
If you’re a reader and would like to help our cause, you can support our sponsors, share our articles, and/or make a direct donation to our operating fund.
