Bermudez Retains WBO Strap: The Women’s Weekly Wrap Up

WBO super flyweight champion Daniela Romina Bermudez (17-3-2, 5 KO’s) successfully defended her title this past weekend, edging out challenger Vanesa Lorena Taborda (8-3) over 10 rounds in the headlining bout on a card in Maciel, Argentina.  Final scores were 96:94 twice with one judge scoring the contest even at 95:95.
