The Boxing Tribune’s 18th ranked lightweight, John Molina (21-1, 17 KOs) is back from a a 10-month stretch of inactivity against Mexico’s Alejandro Rodriguez (12-2, 6 KOs) this Saturday, May 28, at the BlueWater Resort & Casino in Parker, Arizona.

Molina last fought in July of last year, when he stopped fellow-prospect, Henry Lundy in eleven rounds. Molina’s sole loss came at the hands of veteran Martin Honorio via unanimous decision in 2009.

Rodriguez is coming off a one-sided unanimous decision loss to Eloy Perez in April. Prior to that contest, Rodriguez hadn’t fought above the local Guadalajara club scene.
