Sadam Ali (r) fights on the Klitschko-Jennings under-card this Saturday

4/22 – Juan Carlos Reveco (35-2, 19 KO’s) vs. Kazuto Ioka (17-1, 10 KO’s) – Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Osaka, Japan

Defending the WBA flyweight title for the ninth time, Reveco fights for the second time in Japan.  The two division world champ hasn’t lost since 2007 and has won 12 world title bouts since then.  Ioka is a former minimum-weight and light flyweight champ whose only loss came against Amnat Ruenroeng in his first title bout at flyweight.

*Ioka won via MD 12

4/22 – Katsunari Takayama (29-7, 11 KO’s) vs. Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. (27-4-1, 15 KO’s) – Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Osaka, Japan

Three time minimum-weight world champ Takayama makes the first defense since regaining the IBF title in December.  He also holds the WBO title which isn’t at stake.  This is Sakkreerin’s first world title bout; he comes down in weight after winning the IBF Asia Light Flyweight title two months ago.

*Takayama won via TW 9

4/24 – Artur Szpilka (17-1, 12 KO’s) vs. Ty Cobb (18-6, 10 KO’s) – UIC Pavilion, Chicago, Illinois, USA

In an eight round under card bout on Premier Boxing Champions, Szpilka comes in off his biggest win over former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek in November.  His one loss came against Bryant Jennings, who also fights this weekend.

4/25 – Karo Murat (26-2-1, 16 KO’s) vs. Benjamin Simon (25-1, 24 KO’s) –   Columbiahalle, Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany

A regional champ in two weight classes, Murat challenged Bernard Hopkins for the IBF light heavyweight title in 2013 and was outpointed by a wide margin despite his attempts to pressure the older champ and turn the bout into a slugfest.  Since then he’s picked up a win over a relatively inexperienced opponent.  A win over Simon will earn him the vacant IBF International light heavyweight title.  Simon’s last two opponents had a combined record of 2-41-2.

4/25 – Felix Verdejo (16-0, 12 KO’s) vs. Marco Antonio Lopez (24-5, 15 KO’s) – Coliseo Mario ‘Quijote’ Morales, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico

The undefeated lightweight prospect fights for the vacant WBO Latino lightweight title in his first 10 round contest.  Lopez has lost three of his last four fights.

4/25 – Sadam Ali (21-0, 13 KO’s) vs. Francisco Santana (22-3-1, 11 KO’s) – Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA

An undefeated Brooklyn welterweight, Ali came up big in November, stopping the hard hitting Luis Carlos Abregu in nine rounds.  On the Klitschko-Jennings under card, he faces the current WBA International welterweight title holder, Francisco Santana who comes in on a 10 fight winning streak.
